Whenever possible the rotation is written as a metadata flag so the export is instant and lossless. When a hard re-encode is required (some platforms ignore the flag) the tool re-encodes with sensible quality defaults. Runs locally in your browser.

90/180/270 ship first. Arbitrary-angle rotation with auto-crop is on the roadmap.
